very true bro. I am using arch with hyprland in Hyper-V Manager
VM .The vm is stuck in login loop -> Wlr_gles2_renderer_create_with_drm – this is what i got in the hyprland crash logs. Ithink this is a hypervisor issue being unable to to render the graphics properly. You are right hyprland is still not ready for VM yet
I test on my Dell laptop and PC, this problem unsolved
I had the same problem after last update cannot login so I blocked update of arcolinux-hyprland-git package in pacman.conf. After that login is OK. I am on the bare metal
It works on Vmware player for me sort of, it crashes back to the login screen a bit but I'm able to look at it. It breaks near enough everything else though so backup the vm if you're going to try it. All I did was enable 3D acceleration and it logs in.
Hi, I boot the iso on my real hardware( not a virtual machine) and choose the 5th option( safe graphic with nomodset ). but it still require me to login with password. I dont know why, please help
