Issue with tata cars is lots of legacy engine related issues. They are not fixing in latest model.
If you are spending over 25 Lacs then you deserve the premiumness and built to last quality of compass.
Xuv 700 – other than the cheap cosmetics used in interior , it’s a good option
Harrier – other than than the visits to the service centre , it’s the most beautiful looking car in the segment.

Owning XUV 700 for over a year and 30k kms, i am beyond impressed, not even a single issue still rides like new and plus service cost and experience is good too, its service cost is even lower than innova crysta.

The non Indian brands are yet to bring the best to India, for example the Jeep grand Cherokee V6 or V8 or hybrid … sheer power ..the one that is available in india is a 4 cylinder..Affordability and profitability if these two things are taken care , it will be a win win situation, till then let’s manage with basics .
Tata harrier and safari are not comfortable for front passengers as your rightly said they are lacking under thigh support. Same reason I rejected them
Bought 300 tgdi… phenomenal job by Mahindra… the way it drives is truly class above
