  1. I really like that it is not an artificially walled system. The vendor supplied base system seems reasonable, hardware build quality looks really nice, plane Debian can be installed, awesome. Will definitely look further into this.

  2. nascompares channel tried unraid, proxmox and truenas on it while watchdog was disabled, and he reported that the device keept rebooting itself making 3rd party OSes not a viable option
I would have expected you (out of all people) to be installing proxmox as a first thing you did, but nope

you also didnt even fully test the 10gb, nascompares reported that it never reached 10gb speeds btw
do you even have any bad things to say about this? no you don't, because its SPONSORED video and you received a bullet list of talking points

major waste of time this video, very disapointing to say the least
    PS your microphone sucks

  3. It looks alot like Synology but better hardware build and none of this only Synology branded hard drive crap. I wonder if they're going to have camera surveillance app for it which would be a killer thing to have.

  4. The hardware seems mostly ok. But they as a manufacturer heavily try to make you not install other software on it, it’s explicitly forbidden and they claim to void your warranty (I doubt they could ever find out). Still, that’s shady AF. Also if you buy it they won’t provide you with any invoice and you only get some confirmation mail from kickstarter. Total no go if you want it as a business expense.
