Although TrueNAS Scale is a powerful product, I had ongoing issues getting SMB shares to cooperate. I started with TrueNAS Core a couple years ago and moved to SCALE last year. Both with similar issues. Given the issues I had with privileges I recently moved to UNRAID. Possibly considering doing something with UNRAID on your channel. Although it is a paid low cost (one time) service I find it much more user friendly and versatile. All were done on ProxMox. Love the channel!
