  1. Trusting in external password providers is aalso not the reaal safe place.
Checkingt LastPass they got hacked several times …
Again last autummn and on Heise it waas written that hich crypto coins pockets where broken of users using Lastpass..
"Passwortmanager: LastPass-Hacker scheinen Kennworttresore zu knacken "

Maybe the kind of last hack was the reason for lastpass force users to change their secure master password aagain (which was severala years also the case) … to secure "their" services …

  2. I am recently thinking about de-googling, because of all that's been happening, i'm starting to feel like I am google's product, and their advertising, data mining and business practices have gotten a bit too much for me lately. I'm not a "trust nothing" guy, but I think it's not ok to encourage Google and other big companies to continue to invade our privacy and use our data. For example, I realized that google can keep track of my location even when no apps are opened on my android phone, they say it's for the purpose of "timeline", like a history of where you've been, but they also get you to consent to allowing them to use any info for ad purposes, which basically gives them the legal opportunity to do all kinds of things with your data. It's not that I'm paranoid, my data is not important, and i don't think anybody really takes a look at it, and even if they did, they would only be bored, but I just don't like accepting this from google. I feel like the more we accept our privacy being invaded, the more we loose control over it and over other "rights" that some of us fought really hard to get.
I always thought about anti-google guys that they are nerds with nothing better to do, and paranoid, but recently I'm starting to see that what is happening is not ok.

  3. Christian do you render private services or sosmeone who wants multiple nodes? Not necessarily on your home servers specifically but deploying servers for someone's business intranet, even though it is not all in locally hosted servers?

  4. 31:30 I used to not trust myself to host my password vault but then Lastpass had breaches. So, now I self-host. Maybe one day I will move back when I’m not on top of checking I’m up-to-date with my vault and system patches.
