That Amg with the fake Americana grill oh my days is absolutely dreadful. This whole design culture on EVs is awful across most manufacturers, my next vehicle V8 petrol.
What!!? Did you say that the EQC was an awful looking car! Couldn’t disagree more! 😢 EQC in fact looks a lot better than this one. Merc has a strange design direction nowadays, EQA and EQB looking so boxy. And I would go as far as saying «ugly». EQC is a very good looking car 😊
The EQE looks like a beefier version of the GLA.
Car is awesome, but storage space is less. Also mileage is well above advertised numbers. My screen showing 305 mile for a 253 mileage car.
Well… What a 'breath of fresh air' to car reviews. I really was impressed. A 30 minute down to earth review that told me everything i wanted to hear on a car review! Just looking to buy one of the the EQC Mercedes, saw the EQE in the showroom and had to come home and google reviews and this one is exceptional! You even had computer images on the EQE of the drivetrain & then actual images and details of the AMG version along with a video.
I've subscribed instantly as you really gave a down to earth logical review, thank you.
I'd love an EQE but at £50k more than the out going EQC that I have been driving as a loan car for two weeks so far and I am reasonably impressed despite the age of the design, I just couldn't justify or afford the additional deposit required.

Why did Mercedes never make an EQS SUV AMG? Boggles my mind what Mercedes has been doing the last few years. 2019 was the last year of great AMGs

I agree the height of the dashboard is a bit high and you have sit at a level where the dash had to be able to see your eyes but I have to say the hyper screen is phenomenal in my eqs 580 4 matic and living with it it's fantastic and I can see downgrading to the normal one screen which makes the dash look like it's missing something.
I've been driving an EQE SUV loaner while my EQS SUV gets repaired. Neither one is good with bumpy roads / pot holes. You WILL feel the bumps. The suspension is stiff even in comfort mode! The EQS's massaging seats features a weak massage. So if you're looking for a plush ride and with a good deep quality massage, look elsewhere.
It got only range up to 232 miles LOL and when the battery will be only charge up to 80% for long battery life then it will give only 200 miles, with a price tag $63000 USD, it too much.
Was that Farshad in the right seat?

I love this SUV outside and inside. It will be one of my choices when getting a new car in the next few months. I would also take the hyperscreen because it makes the SUV look amazing.
At £110,000 for a bog standard RW drive is Ridiculous

I agree with you on the dash. Even the non hyper dash I drove was way to high. Compared to the Genesis GV70 Electric the feeling of spaciousness and foreword visibility in the Genesis was much better. Overall I found the GV70 more comfortable, refined and quicker.
We bought the EQE SUV 350 4MATIC Luxury Line and it's far the best Mercedes we ever had, coming from a EQ E-class DE Hybrid stationwagon… So if you want to drive a true Mercedes, than this is your car. Btw… it isn't a Audi or a Tesla… It's a Mercedes, luxury and class INSIDE the car. Driving a real dream.
