Chonny Jash – The Chonny Jash Power Hour

AND THUS CONCLUDES THE POWER HOUR PROJECT!!!

I appreciate all those of you who stuck around for the trip. It was a lot of fun, a great learning exercise, extremely rewarding, and I'm never fucking doing it again. (At least, not at this pace.)
Weirdly enough, writing, producing, recording, mixing and mastering 5 songs, as well as making a music video for one of them, all in the span of approx. 6 weeks, is insanely tiring!

To that end, now's a good time to talk about the long-term future of the Chonny Jash Cinematic Experience.

…or it would be, if I had any solid idea what was happening in the long-term future at all.
The emotions expressed in this most recent Power Hour are exaggerated, but they're real, and there's no point hyperbolizing them and spending the better part of 4 songs in a row having a whinge if I'm not actually going to do something about it, so I'm leaving the future of my music up in the air for the time being, and giving myself space to breathe and return to my roots – making stuff I think will be fun.
The core DNA will be the same. I'll make music, try my hardest to make it sound good, have pride in my work, and share it for whoever wants to listen, but the specifics of what I do (originals, covers, other stuff???) and what order I do it in is completely unknown, even to me.

What I DO know, at the very least, is what song I'm immediately doing next. And I can only apologize, 'cos it's something that VERY few of you have been requesting.
So to those who wanted another Power Hour, or Tally Hall, or even other covers… well…

…you've met with a terrible fate, haven't you?

Unlike the other power hours i held back on commenting on every video cos i was just taking it all in, but this might be my favourite ph yet.
As the #1 Compelled by Hindsight fan and one of the 5 to 6 people that knew about the souncloud [back when disf? and b/c were soundcloud exclusice] I did infact loose my mind [not in a rollercoaster accident, this time.]
This is just insane and so well crafted, comparing to the before. [or the 2020 demos in this case] is like coughing baby vs hydrogen bomb.
