Doesn't work for me either. I keep getting "ERROR: [init][2024-04-21 15:47:05] Something went horribly wrong with our database"
It doesn't recognize the DB server host and I've tried 'romm-db', 'mariadb', and also the IP address of my server, all of them throw the same error. Double checked the names and passwords several times.
** UPDATE romm-db and mariadb are 'unknown'. The IP address seems to connect but it won't log in using the credential and I've checked them several times over now.
** UPDATE 2 – SOLVED!
I read up that mariadb doesn't like to have its root password changed and I couldn't remember what I had it set up as before. Uninstalling it and re-installing didn't fix the issue. So I installed the "official" mariadb rather than the "linuxserver" version I had before and it all worked!
can you also add the games without having the roms. want to use is as a selfhost library for a Physical game collection.
I've worked with clrmamepro and romvault before to validate my ROM collections against DAT files, but this is my first time hearing of this. I'm not running UnRAID, but it ought to be easy enough to spin this up in Docker Compose I think. Thanks.
