ERROR AT 13:45 The Globemaster has ~20,900 CUBIC feet of stores. It does NOT have 20,900 SQUARE feet.
Googling says the bay is 88 feet long by 18 feet wide. That corresponds to 1,584 SQUARE feet. It is 12.3 feet tall, which implies it's volume is 19,483 CUBIC feet, with perhaps another 1,400 cubic feet of irregular shaped space.
SO, this is a "SCARY AIR RAID"…. of course it's SCARY, all they've got are inert, DUMMY, practice bombs! PURE BOLLOCKS!
Waste of time.
7:24 Uh oh. There's a little surprise for the enemy. An AIM-9 Sidewinder air to air missile on the ground attack A-10 Warthog.
The black smoke is because the TF-33 engine is an old design and the old designs had inefficient fuel burn. The black smoke results from incomplete fuel burn. The new engines for the B-52K model should be WAY less smoky. A dramatic difference.
Wheres the CRM-114? ๐

So where were the bombs dropped ? never saw it
The loading was practice only with dummy bombs
Brings back some memories.
all the bombs being loaded are inert.
That was me 47 years ago with the 92nd BW(H) and then the 93rd BW(H).
They look so young to me now.
I flew F-111s at Cannon AFB NM and my cousin flew B-52s at KI Sawyer in Michigan. Told him Iโd rather have a sister who was a hooker in Vegas than tell my friends my cousin flew Buffs. ๐
Wow that air raid was so scary ! Sorry I missed it. :O)
The majority of bombs are still unguided, not JDAM
With all the technology, all the modern weapons, planes, bombs, USA could not defeat the Taliban in 20 years. Taxpayers got the bill on time though. ๐
The statement at 4:50 is incorrect. The G-model was the last to use water injection. The H-model has never had water injection.
Also, at 6:27, "Tactical Air-to-Air Refueling" (TAAR) is not a term that's used, it's "Air-to-Air Refueling" (AAR).
IS THAT MONSTER MAN PLAYING BOTH SIDES
WHO SHOULD WE DO ๐ฅ IS THAT MY 1st ๐ ,I GOT MILITARY MEDALS FROM TWO COUNTRIES!!!!
W-H-a-ttt. ARE YOU KIDDING ME, QUATAR, WHO, DID THIS, I DEMAND TO KNOW! SOMEBODY BETTER STAND UP….I'M WAITING. (AUTHORIZED THE SALE)
I miss seeing the BUFF & the WARTHOG as I been assigned to USAF bases that had both(separately) My SAC base had the โDโ model B-52s which had a rear gunner actually in a separate compartment, I always thought that was cool! The โgunnersโ, not so much!GO USAF๐บ๐ธ๐บ๐ธ
