  1. Transmission Power 5GHz:
    EAP653 – 22dBm
    EAP610 – 25dBm
    EAP670 – 28dBm
All have a 5dBi internal omni antenna.

Why would they send their least powerful EAP as a demo unit to SMBs? I've tried the EAP610 in my house and signal strength was mediocre. The EAP670 has a much stronger signal and is on par with an ASUS RT-AX88U with external antennas. It's also a huge saucer!

Low power access points are useful in deployments where each AP serves a small but client dense area. One can then use overlapping channels with less interference between APs. Maybe that was the intent but in that case they'd need much more than two APs?

  2. its great stuff, only weird that they insist that omada is a business solution, since its used a lot in home networks. In forums they commented on calls for zerotier integration that their customers all have fixed IPs… but now they added DynDNS. Oh well..

  3. What’s the difference between the EAP650 and EAP653? I have one EAP650 already but was planning on getting two more. This would be perfect as I’m also currently running my controller in unraid.
