  1. The recent crisis between Iran and Pakistan was a really interesting development. The two countries have historically had an extremely close and friendly relationship. However, the tension over ongoing Baloch insurgencies appeared to push them over the edge and spark a military tit-for-tat strike. But is this just a one-off incident that will soon be forgotten? Or is part of a deeper friction between the two countries tied to broader international developments in the Middle East and beyond? As always, I look forward to hearing your thoughts and comments below.

  2. States and ethnicities are one incomplete way of analyzing these conflicts. The only thing missing is the realization that these are part of never ending religious wars. Also that all the various illogical irrational and contradictory self delusional belief systems that go by the protected name of religions in the modern world and were plagiarized in part from prior now defunct belief systems that were created to explain the natural world before the advent of science and reason are harmful to varying degrees to both individuals and societies. It is long past time for all of the false belief systems to be relegated to a footnote in the history books. Won’t make the world a perfect place but at least a better place and better prepared to address upcoming challenges.

  5. Is it possible that Iran and Pakistan orchestrated this in the middle of growing Iranian backed proxy escalation to show that Iran is willing to strike hostile territory if they are threatened, and for Pakistan to have an excuse to strengthen it’s governance, military presence in Baluchistan, and both countries to benefit from the distraction during all the internal chaos currently happening in each country? I realize this sounds like a conspiracy theory now that I wrote it out

  6. You wish for a conflict Professore??

Who is behind the attacks? Do you ealize the BIG Game here? Do you know anything at all about the Baluchistan Freedom momevent? Doou know how India has been traiing Baluch Seperatists along the border, besides traing and financial assistance? The history of relations is always what you inthe West have wanted it to be, and to suit your narrative. Its a selfish way to go about it. Istead of making allies, you break allies.

  7. Pakisthan would soon engage in a war with Iran under support and as proxy to US against Iran. India should unhasitatingly take back POK at this appropriate moment of time. If India fails to do so at that time, it will never make it any time in the future.A rogue nation like Pakisthan is under much demand by key international players' countries today especially by US.
