  2. Sorry but i have to say this in response to this constant claim of population collapse, At the beginning of the 19th century global population was less than 1 billion, at the start of the 20th century that number had hugely increased to around 2 billion citizens, today it's well over 8 billion, So it's clear to notice that the rate of population growth or increse has progressively increased globally, chronologically , if we contine on this path we will be living with a projected population of close to 20 billion, even by 2050 and certainly before the beginning of the 22nd century, this is clearly not sustainable, the population might grow in size but the planet cannot,
What i like about how Lex does these interviews is that he looks to understand what is being discussed, before giving his response, more interviewers should do this because it imho anyway it creates a fairer more honest converstation. Another thing in contrast to What Elon seems to by implying, The more people the lower the average quality of life globally, this is fact, think about that when considering future generations

  3. When all of the discussions about Deus Ex brought us here 😉 Poor Nexus 1 models destined to be trapped within v.1.0 😉
We will be like those aliens from Watts novel 😉 Or Binars from ST 🙂

  4. Just want to point out Fridman is an MIT graduate who doesn't understand the American political process. Nobody "anoints" nominees "secretely" (he apparently disables autocorrect too). Presidential candidates are selected via National committee. Both parties have one. What an actual sore loser with gobs of wealth, a massive platform and greedy for more.

  5. 5:01:18. I think suffering is what motivates us forward when it's interpreted correctly. Of course we can ease suffering of the outliers, but if you don't experience the suffering of your condition, you'll becoming apathetic and not solve your problem. You'll become okay with your context and stagnate, like heroin addicts, they don't subjectively suffer, and all of their perceived suffering is attenuated. Elon even mentioned that when society struggles, it becomes active to seek more life and solve their way out of the suffering.
