2 VLANS on 1 Virtual NIC

Hi guys,

I am at the limit of 10 VNIC for my PFSENSE and I need to add an additional one, Is it possible to configure 1 VNIC with 2 VLANS from the vSphere?

I’ve tried to create distributed port group with 2 VLANS but it seems I can’t use them as a network adapter on the VM maybe it’s some misconfiguration by me but couldn’t find anything related online…

  1. Wouldn’t just creating a trunk (adding all of your required VLANs) on the switch side and then just create a trunk and tag the traffic from pfSense work for you ?

Why do you need VLAN handling on the vSphere side ?
