Thank you for this tutorialโit really helped me a lot! I appreciate all your hard work. Just a quick tip: If a user is utilizing an SSD for the cache drive and selects it as the primary storage for new downloads, then selects the array as the secondary storage, this method would cause unnecessary write cycles on the SSD, shortening its lifespan as UNRAID's primary Cache drive. Or if the user decides to create the plex "Downloads" share on the array, this would prevent the parity and download disk from ever spinning down. In my opinion, it's smarter to use a 2.5" regular HDD for downloads and create a separate share using "Unassigned Devices" for PLEX downloads. Now I fully understand some people may not have room for this. I am running an optiplex 790 with a Dell H310 HBA SAS card installed with two SFF-8087 connectors with two separate Mini SAS to four (4) Sata connectors for a possible total of 8 drives. I am currently only utilizing six(five 4TB drives and 1TB Cache SSD drive) but will be adding a separate HDD for downloads. Thank you again for this tutorial, your time is appreciated!

Unfortunately I can't seem to access the appdata folder, I did enable export on appdata share. I'm trying to access it from my network (using Mac Os), any idea why it's not working ?

qbittorrent's default password is no longer adminadmin, instead it creates a default password which you can find in the logs after the container has started. Access the logs by left clicking on the qibttorrent icon in the docker apps page and it will be the 6th entry on the menu. a terminal window will pop up with the logs and you can see the password for the session there, copy it and paste it to login in the webui login page. Aterwards you can change the password to secure the app. ๐
I have a home network with a separate pc setup with unraid. I will be using a vpn for security, but where to place it? I think I will be using Surfshark, but should I place it at the router for full home network access or within a docker in unraid? also have a separate server for Plex.
I am watching the video now, because I use this and have been looking for ways to get the PIA Wireguard service to work with this since they only support OpenVPN configurations on their website. There are people who say you can make Wireguard with PIA work on this…hope you cover this.
You didn't seem to put in your PIA Username/Password in the Docker container, though. Assuming you did this off screen. Wow, this is all it takes. No config file or anything needed like with OpenVPN to make this work with Wireguard. How insane is that. So now my downloads are not throttled to hell anymore.
Why do you not need to have a config file with Wireguard? I'm curious as to why OpenVPN needs so much to work but Wireguard just straight up works.
