  1. 021024 I bought a Win11 home version last week and tried to install it on my MSI GX70 with Win8.1 bought in 2011. It passed inspection except for TPM and wouldn't go any further. I watched your video but when I got to @09:05 on your video it didn't go to updates, instead it wanted a key, fortunately I had one I just got and it worked! It even transferred all my files, so, thank you!

  4. Why is it we as consumers allow Microsoft to pull crap like this again and again in the first place? First it was the removal of the START menu in Windows 8, then the middle finger START button in Windows 8.1 (you know the START menu they sort of gave us), follow that with the FORCED upgrade to Windows 10 that no one asked for, but most took that upgrade without their knowledge it was going to wipe out their system. Next we find out the deep seeded spying BS from Windows 10 (thanks to their telemetry crap), and now it's "your hardware sucks and you have to spend even more money on a new system with hardware we approve of, and fits our rules!" Again why the hell do we have to give them our money for an OS that is garbage, that forces hardware upgrades, punishes those that have older gear (and most can't afford a new system in this economy). The fear of ditching Microsoft is so deeply rooted is truly sad!

  5. Will i lose any data files or apps if upgrading from windows 10 i got all my life in windows 10 my files and everything so if i upgrade to 11 will everything be transferred from old windows Chris please reply

  6. It may be easy to "upgrade" unsupported hardware, but I don't think it's worth doing. My hardware was very much supported when I upgraded and I have lived to regret it. I have never had so many application and system crashes as I have with 11, and I have been using Windows since version 3. The new file explorer is inconsistent in the way it implements tabs, and confuses the content of some tabs with others. I have been updated often and this does not help.

  7. Does anyone have a legit free copy of windows 11? I’m scared to do this because I need my laptop for work. My Sony vaio t series ultra book is in windows 10 home and it says my laptop doesn’t meet the requirements. F I override it may crash my laptop???

  8. Windows 11 does work on older machines. i tried this method of a Core 2 Duo E5800. I created a USB stick and the installation went fine, but honestly, Windows 11 is quirky garbage and I see no advantage to upgrading to Windows 11 at this time. I wouldn't say I like the way it keeps nagging you to log into a Microsoft account. Thanks for posting this info.

  9. Just upgraded my Windows 10 Boot Camp partition to Windows 11 (latest version Win11_23H2_Portuguese_x64v2.iso), on an iMac 27inch Late 2013 and everything went smoothly, all devices recognized, all apps installed on Windows 10 working now on Windows 11, including a version of MS Office 2016. Automatic updates are also working. So sad that the same is not possible with recent versions of macOS. Many thanks!
