  3. Subscribed after a year of lurking and shamelessly using your advice regardless. Since you've just saving me scrapping a perfectly excellent 7700HQ gaming laptop, which I'd given up on being worth investing in a new battery for, I cannot carry on without making amends. This has been such a useful channel, it's now my No. 1 go-to for PC queries. Thanks so much, Brian & team.

  4. Brilliant tutorial, thanks. Found comment from @KJ-kg8kc below particularly helpful as my first attempt to select the option to keep all files setting and apps failed. Correct English language version solved that.

  5. Thank you! You saved me from having to buy another laptop! I kept getting the incompatibility messages when trying to install windows 11 on my laptop. I got so far and to add the windows 11 files unto a thumb drive, but it wouldnโ€™t load from the thumb drive without the incompatibility error messages or just stalling somewhere on install at some percentage. I followed what you said and copied the filed to the C drive from the thumb drive and everything worked perfectly. I have been thinking there HAS to be a way around this. I seen someone put windows 11 on a 15 year old handheld pc. I knew if I just watched the right video I would get the correct advice. Thanks a million!

  6. the only thing that doesn't meet requirements on my pc is the cpu whis is a i7 4770k, i was wondering if i should try to update or not? Any help from anyone would be much appropriated thanks.

  7. It just closes installer prior to blue screen Installing Windows Server like nothing happened (time 4:49 from video)
Not sure why it's not working on Dell Latitude with Intel i5 6th gen. ๐Ÿ˜ข

  8. Thank you very much. It works! I am installing Windows 11 by upgrading from Windows 8.1 using the same method, not merely on non-supported PC but indeed a non-supported Mac. I am able to use Windows 11 smoothly on a Mac Mini mid 2011 (5.1) with no problem. This model of Mac not even got a bootcamp of Windows 10 or above but this method works. Amazing and thank you very much.

  9. After upgrading the Windows 11 23H2, then may I, or can I, delete the "Windows11" folder which you recommended to create for upgrading? In order to save space and not wasting the storage? Or I need to keep this new folder to maintain functionality?
