  1. Good choice! I know exactly how you feel, I have one of those car sitting in my garage to. We used to take it on family trips when the kids were little, and then, the last few years, it’s just been sitting, and I’ve been thinking about turning it into a track car or something. But like you said, it means too much.

  2. After hearing the background story of this supra I really don’t think you should sell it.. the sentimental value to you and your wife is just invaluable. This needs to be brought back to its original look and then put on a stand above the office space within your unit. I hear what your saying regarding a collector but seriously, you should not feel bad that it’s sat up doing nothing and it should become an ornament of your workshop look. Also a tip to your editor, look at various car shows and YouTube channels for the look and feel of a well put together video, learn adobe after effects and start to jazz up the look and feel of these videos as a new stand alone channel. It will help grow the channel massively. Gerald, although you are trying to gain some of your valuable time back but in order to make this successful you will definitely need to step up the pace and the enthusiasm of this business model. I enjoyed the dynamics of you and Freddy and the way you would bounce of each other was both engaging and fully entertaining. It takes a leap of faith and a change in mind set to became the front character of a show, you have all the charisma and knowledge to really make this a great channel. Look forward to seeing this channel grow and you as a YouTuber. Be confident in your skills and craft, your knowledge of vehicles exceeds most of the social media platforms.. always remember that! Good luck bro..

  3. Yes I grew up playing GT and GT2. But now Forza horizon 5 is where it's at, and one of my favorite cars out of the 200 plus in my garage is my MK3 supra. One of my favorite cars of all time. Just the most beautiful and stunning car toyota ever made.

  4. I get it, totally! Great story. Keep and restore the car. I sold my Norton 850 in 2001, have since found the current owner and can't afford to buy it back. Yah there are better bikes but this one took my wife out on our first date.

  5. I love them, just history and memories. Torn between the gen3 and gen2 style. Sacrilege maybe but I'll definitely use a Vortec 4200 with dry sump for clearance. Can't beat 500 bucks for a good motor.

  6. Jared, so excited to see the Supra series. I too understand the car being a part of the family. The memories are what drive us to do what's only in our dreams. It'll be awesome to see you and your wife drive it and relive those memories. God speed my friend!!

  7. Trust me! I know how you feel! I had a 84.5 gen 1 Supra. Oh I loved that car tell I made an extra inspection port on the side of the block but that’s not my in love car. (Mind you this is 1998-2001 I graduated in 1999 yes I’m old) My love was a red 90 LX 5.0l 5spd with solid black interior! I had almost 80k miles when I bought it for $4250. Imagine a fox LX 5.0l 5sp all black interior for that price now, More like $15k plus now It was my first mustang of 6 or 7 I think but I still know where it is to this day and who owns it. Some day! But for the people that don’t get being emotional about a car?! Think of it this way. That worthless stuffed animal you have kept or that thing you put as a goal to work towards in the future. Well that’s how car guys feel about their cars. And your first love in cars is your virginity and once that first car is gone, you can never get your virginity back. 99.9% of the time that’s how it works with cars.

  8. If a State Trooper (traffic cop, here in the UK) lets you off lightly, it means they saw something genuine in you. They're not all on a power trip, and many youngsters need to understand a lot of them are car guys too. It's the number one reason I wanted to get into traffic when I was in my 20s… traffic police in the UK were driving Sierra Cosworths at the time, which was my dream car back then! 🤩🤩

I remember on holiday back in the early 90s (I was about 22-23) geting caught at 3am on West Colonial (Hwy 50) in Florida doing well over a ton and having a great laugh with the officers that stopped us, who subsequently let us on our way with nothing more than a friendly warning. It's all about humility & respect. They're two triats I see in your character in your videos today.
