If you have a fixed core ratio, that forces the CPU to run at that frequency all the time. Is that the best advice?

So weird. The 40.00 and 1.02500 crashes my pc but the 4.4 1.2v gets 29396 in cinebench and runs perfecly? I am so confused. nh-14 cooler

Hello, I have a 5950X with a 7 years old 240mm Corsair H100.
I was facing a lot of unexpected power offs.
Now I undervolt my Ryzen to 2.8ghz@1.025 and now everything works great.
Do you think it could be an issue with my cpu or with my old WC?
Should I leave PBO auto or disable it if I set voltage offset at -0.05?
I can’t edit my numbers (cpu core voltage). It only gives the presets for auto, manual and offset
That’s for the straight forward approach. I was able to get 4.2ghz @ 1.15v. To get 4.4ghz I had to go up to 1.3v. I saved custom bios profiles for each if I ever want to quickly switch them.

whats the best voltage for 4.55 ghz or 4.6 to be stable?
I run my 5950x with smt off and core boost off and eco mode. to save power. It idles 2200 and maxes out 3400. It runs just as good with lower watts. 3070ti also under clocked system around 300 watts tuned playing any game at 120 fps.
