VMware Workstation Crashes with vmui error

I have about a dozen users experiencing an error like below when they attempt to connect to vcenter. Ignoring the error box and not clicking it causes no issues, but acknowledging it causes the program to crash.

There have not been any recent changes made to vCenter, so I’m really stumped as to why this is happening. Reinstalling VMware does not resolve the issue. Disabling antivirus and running as admin have both been tried.

I have a pastebin here with the logs [https://pastebin.com/dTTXhG2k](https://pastebin.com/dTTXhG2k)

I checked a very old forum post about this which suggested adding DNS server entries. That did not resolve the issue.

  1. Update: for those wondering, this was fixed by granting all users a global read-only permission on the datacenter. I have no idea why this suddenly became necessary but I hope it helps someone running into the same issue.
