  1. Well that asetek wheel base comes from the factory with LEDs thats from Aseteks factory most of the cost in this particular rig is paying you guys to assemble it for the customer so really high labor cost i know the recaro cost allot but it doesn't usually come with this rig the p1 its called i need i do something like this but id feel guilty doing it also heusinkveld does not make the best pedals simucube does that's what that active pedal is its about $2500 and they make full sets of pedals and VRS makes heusinkveld killers to either way you guys gotta feed your selves somehow even if it's off the ignorance of others people are paying for what knowledge you do have

  2. You absolutely can go over 120Hz with triple 4K screens, even my RTX 3080 can do that (not that it will pump out over 120 fps frequently, but that's another story). But due to displayport 1.4 bandwidth limitations, 144Hz @4K means using display stream compression or chroma subsampling, while 120Hz doesn't need that, so I run my 4K triples in 120Hz mode

  3. A round wheel would have been a better choice for the all around rim instead of that GT Max 32 flat bottom and you'd think the owner of this company would know that Heusinkveld isn't a German company.

  4. This is a fantastic service and an outstanding company. It's truly refreshing to witness American voices in the Sim racing community building such high-quality rigs with great attention to detail. I'm incredibly thrilled about your success, and I hope Organ and Segura give you plenty of orders.

  5. Wonder how they power 3 x 55" 4k monitors with decent Fps?, even a 4090 cannot power that Samsung G95 Nc, which is in effect 2 x 4k monitors, maybe they have triple GPU's?

  6. Great vid. Interesting reading comments both positive and moreso, severely negative against you.
Would I buy or use you service ? Certainly not. Simply the $$$ factor alone won’t allow me to do this.

I’m in Thailand and recently spent $5k on a 3 dof motion rig for flight sim for my son. That’s not including monitor/s, keyboard, mouse, pc, speakers, USB hubs, my time etc etc.
The cockpit I had to purchase extra to get things I wanted for everything to be tidy, look cool and work seamlessly for my son. He’s happy so I’m happy.
Probably not much change if any from $10k..

Race or flight SIM is expensive if you want to fully immerse yourself into it and has considerable expense outlays.

We’ve got the Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog setup, & WinWings F/A18 setup too. Almost or about $1k for both if not more.
I’ve spent shitloads in international deliveries, taxes & duty costs also as things I’ve purchased either aren’t available locally or local costs are ridiculously high but it was still cheaper to buy from overseas than here. There’s no one shop service here for this kind of thing, or if there is I’m unawares of it or unwilling to be financially ripped off by local venders.

I’m not bagging your posted costs for the rig.. You’re a company / business that’s focused for a particular market.. Good for you and I hope it works out well for you.
You’ve also high end customers that see value in the services you offer and don’t have the need, desire, ability or time to DIY, so look to you. It’s a win win situation. Nothings free and almost everything costs $$ so to those that bag you, they can move on, put up or shut up.

I won’t be entering to win the wheel setup. I don’t do Twitter or social media. Oh well – bugga me..

Now I know your company name. I didn’t before watching your clip. Thanks for sharing.

  7. Let’s be honest, you ripped him off. Warthog throttle, hueskenveld pedals? If he paid you 70k, you should have given him top of the line gear. Simucube active pedals, virpil or another top end flight gear, etc…mid range gear for 70k is fraudulent

  8. Wow, so many haters in the comments section. Of course you could build this rig for a lot less than $70k, so quit complaining and just go do it!? I can tell you right now that Joe's time is way more valuable than having to deal with building one of these from scratch. I think some of you forget that there's a cost in man hours, shipping, overhead for the actual company that you don't see. $70k is a drop in the bucket for Joe to be able to enjoy something of this calibre. Well done Podium 1 Racing and congratulations on an amazing opportunity!
