This all assumes things about SMM that are not true. Persistent threats don't care about your os. This is not security it's just a pain in the ass. If you're paranoid enough for this you need to burn your system to the ground every time you use it and spin up a fresh system (including flashing your fw and zeroing the scratch pad in every on-board device) behind an airgap every time you switch tasks. Not impossible and still more convenient with the right automation the this silly os.
