I’m hearing the amd version of the slim 7 runs hotter than the intel version. All reviews I’ve seen has the AMD version running 8 to 10 degrees hotter.

no qualifying factors for laptops
the diagrams say NOTHING about the actual performance (don‘t show 5 of the same gen intel cpus nobody cares)
but you can‘t know these things unless you are actually using a laptop for work
pay closer attention while picking out tasks which would favor different laptops
ALSO this vid is supposed to show the top 10 Laptops of 2023… I would expect Laptops with innovative features and compare them at that, not just LIST FEATURES then talk about the performance

c++ and rust dev here. using a L14 Amd from Lenovo (64gb ram). replacing it with a P16s still in Amd, fedora preloqded and still 64 gb

Hi all….great review by the way…QUESTION : I am a 58 year old senior thats not that techy..I am looking for a Laptop for watching…movies / utube / streaming / social media and emails / shopping on Amazon / etc…would prefer something with a 14 inch or bigger screen that has an awesome picture and good amount of memory and storage…I really do not know where to start as this will be my first Laptop ( i've had a few desktops over the years ) so i welcome any suggestions sent my way….i don't want big overkill nor something that will just get me by…..in the middle works…lol…..thx in advance…cheers from Canada

HP Pavilion is the worst laptop I ever had. Worst touchpad, worst speakers, practically unusable microphone, very bad assembly, very bad battery life, motherboard got broken after 2 years of use. Never ever HP again. Idk what it is doing in this top
