If you want a free and easy way to setup a Palworld Dedicated Server on any PC, this is how to do it through Steamcmd. It does not require installing the Steam client and logging in with your user, so it’s great for server setup.

To those who need to update today – just crank up Steam CMD, login anonymously, and do the app_update 2394010 validate command.
I've done everything right but my friends can't seem to connect? I've done port-forwarding for other games and it works but only for this game it doesn't show that the port is open when I run the server
I have been using the steam cmd method to host a dedicated server for a couple of days. However, today Palworld updated. I updated via steam. It says “The match you are trying to join is running an incompatible version of the game. Please try upgrading your game version.” How do I do this? I thought I did lol first time hosting a server.
remember you cant play the server on the same machine your host it. This creates a network loop and others will connect and you will timeout everytime.
