The End Of Waterfall Minecraft Servers. This is a NEW Minecraft 1.20.4 video. In this video, I am covering some Minecraft server news that just came out. A few hours ago, it was revealed that PaperMC, the creators and developers of the Waterfall Minecraft Proxy Server, will stop maintaining and supporting it. The Waterfall Proxy, which was originally a fork of Bungeecord, is quite outdated and has many security flaws. And with them also owning Velocity, an improved Minecraft Proxy, custom-made for Paper Servers. It was a matter of time before Waterfall would be dropped. But…

At this point, people know that Velocity is way better and safer than Waterfall. However, Velocity should allow support for Waterfall and Bungee plugins for customization.

In my opinion, velocity is safer/better than waterfall anyway, so it's good that they made this decision.
