So many games out there with easy server setups. I dont know why The Front Developers wanted to recreate the wheel. The game is good but the developers killed it with this dumb way of doing servers.
Hey so I did everything step by step and I cant get the ports to open up I added them in my vps firewall both tcp and udp inbound and outbound them added my vps ip. there's that and I cant see the server in the dedicated server menu in game. any help with this would be appreciated please and thank you.

Did everything. But I can't find it on the list. There are other Ports like TCP/UPD 5001-5004, 27015?

hello all can someone help me from the beginning everything was ok the server worked but later I wanted to change some settings and the server doesn't work anymore it doesn't appear in the dedicated server list I even reinstalled windows I did everything according to the video but no matter what I do the server doesn't appear I don't know what else to do

You my freind are a life saver if i could give you 10 likes I would, I couldent for the life of me get past the character creation section, as soon as I clicked start nothing happend, a brief log input but no handshake. Thanks so much.

having the same issue with the server being there but getting timed out before i can make a character.
Great video helped a lot. I can't find the setting to change the server wipe. I see other dedicated servers with there wipe set for 40 days. Mine is at >1 day. Do you know how I can change this. Thanks.

where is Gamemode for PVP/PVE?
I get a ton of LogStreaming Errors: Shows the server, cannot connect.
I made my own bat file, but I am getting the same thing as @Vaeroth…I see the server, I connect to the server, but it then errors with the time expired…I am also seeing a 500ms ping instead of very low, beings its on my computer

Hi, mine says taht I cant run the game on a virtual machine, but I just setup the dedicated server on a dedicated server 😀

Running a dedicated server on a virtual machine is the way to go…
Followed all steps and made sure I had the Save section set too as well. Getting the "Server connection has expired" message. I can see the server. So I know the ports are open correctly. Asks for my password. But then still get the error.
Sadly it's not working. I do everything you do and i'm on it since yesterday. We still got " Server connection has expired " and 90% of people can't make their servers.
