Despite the majority of Chinese bikes-in-a-box out there being total pieces of junk, there are a select few that are decent or even good. In this video, I filter them out so you don’t…

  1. i live in Belize and to be honest the Lifan brand of Chinese motorcycles are known to be quite reliable here they get the crap beat out of em and just keep going especially the ones with the Cg engine clone that uses a pushrod system and not timing chains they are crazy durable.

  2. well im gonna be hugh honest with you i think you might have missed a few from cfmoto
in my country cfmoto works for the best of new riders since we can only start at 500cc and below and only after 1 year of experience u can get ur slef a none limited license anf get the goldwing u have been dreaming of šŸ˜€ anyways im well versed into the cfmoto 250 nk since its the motorcycle i learned how to drive on and had my 1st test on it too managed to pass on the 1st test with it its quite a good bike to make effort with it without washing it down the drain
as soon as i came into this world i looked for bikes like in honda suzuki heck even kawasaki which i couldnt afford to buy one here but eventually i cam across the cfmotto 6501 gt which can be limited to under 47 hp and under 500cc which is good for me since im gonna get a new driving license not limited within 6 months from now and when i pass the test im gonna have the 650 unlimited back to his 648 cc and 61 hp which is very convennient

  3. āœŒļøOnly to consider Chinese bike if the local distributor is strong and can get spare parts for the model and make sure tht the model is selling okay in the market. Or else the distributor will cut off and discontinue the model. šŸ˜…

  4. In the logo display of Chinese manufacturers you include Lexmoto, who aren't a manufacturer but the leading importer of Chinese bikes and scooters in the UK. They source bikes from several manufacturers which are then fitted with better quality items where necessary and all bikes are badged as Lexmoto. I had a 125 that was very reliable and I currently own a Lexmoto Pegasus 300 maxi-scooter (a rebadged Taro Explorer) which I love riding. I enjoyed the video and enjoy watching this channel. Best wishes from England.

  5. Just bouth my third Chinese bike.. First was Benelli tnt300, than CF moto 650mt (adventura in the US), and now CFMOTO CL-X ADV…
    perfectly good bikes….
I prefer to spend extra cash that I saved by not bying Jap or Euro overpriced competition, to actyaly riding, and puring some miles… fun fact.. every one of them I buoth new from dealer with big discounts, couse no one was willing to "risk".. first two I saled for more than I payed, couse in meantime people started to apptishied those bikes..
Money pit…. yes if you are stupid

  6. I live in Melbourne, Australia. I bought a Benelli TRK 502X new 18 months ago. Iā€™ve done 117,000 km on this bike with little trouble. Yes, itā€™s heavyā€¦but when you get caught in a crosswind, or buffeting caused by road trains youā€™re going to appreciate the stability of the bike. I do a yearly trip to far North Queensland, over 10,000km in 12 days, and the bike is awesome to ride. I get mine serviced every month at the dealership I bought it from and they just laugh when the check the km. It doesnā€™t have the ā€œgrin factorā€ that my Tiger Sport 660 has, but I canā€™t do 1000km + days on the Triumph either. Seat is really comfortable and butt only starts getting numb around 800km mark. Great bike for the money.

  7. If Chinese motorbikes are so bad as you insinuate, how come I see them doing very well all over Africa, the Middle East and many other parts of the world – in some of the toughest conditions imaginable.

This reminds me of what western media was saying years back about Japanese products – and today, we don't see Land Rovers much. Toyota Land Cruisers are everywhere.

  8. I believe CFmoto has partnaship with KTM, some of the KTM bikes are manufactured by CFmoto in recent years.

In adidtion, HAOJIE should be mentioned. Basically it is a rebranded SUZUKI, the manufacture are monitored by SUZUKI's superivsors and most of the components are imported by SUZUKI from Japan.

  9. So, I own 9 motorcycles. Suzuki, Honda, Kawasaki, Ducati and even a Harley. I also own one Chinese bike, the CSC RX4.

I'm surprised you didn't mention this one, because the CSC guys in California keep all the parts in stock, and the quality of the bike is great. Not excellent, but great.

I have owned two, and about to upgrade to the RX6. Why two? Well, I traded off my 2019 which had 22k miles to get the new model with the TFT dash new electronics, like tire pressure monitors and bluetooth capability. I sold that buke for 2500, which was half what I paid for it.

I tried to break the newer one. I did the first service at 500 miles, then I didn't service it again until it had 12k miles. I was doing a 48 state run with it, and just decided I'd go until it died. It didn't. I literally had to decide to stop.

I kept the chain lubed and tires checked, but I did no engine maintenance or oil changes for over 12k miles. Never noticed any issues with it, and when I finally did a service on it I was completely blown away how good everything looked inside.

The engine had no extra wear, the sprockets were still good, even the tires had another 5k miles on them. Yeah, I had one mirror get rusty being out in the weather, but it was less than 20 bucks for a new one.

Then I brought it to Hawaii, and it was ridden as a commuter everyday, about 8 miles total a day, for a year. Again, no service was done to it. All the rain, and we get a TON of rain, salty air and sitting in the parking lot uncovered, the bike still runs like it did 15k miles ago.

I've changed the tires once, that's it. Still has the same battery.

5500 bucks total, that's with the skidplate and aluminum luggage. The Honda I own went to the shop 4 times in it's first year. Spent more time in the shop than being ridden in it's first year, and it was just a bad motor….twice.

Now, I'd not go so far to say that the RX4 is better than the Honda, but considering it was 1/3 the price, it's comparable. And it's not ugly…it looks a lot like a BMW. My wife had one that was stolen with only 1k miles on it.

It's a ZongShen bike from China, but CSC works with them directly to make sure every bike they get it quality and legal in the US. Readily available parts, and they even have a healthy number of places across the country that will service it, even in Hawaii.

The other bikes they sell are good from what I can tell talking to owners.

I ride it more than any other bike I own, because it has proven that even when neglected it will just go. Sure, it's no the most luxurious bike around, but the features it comes with standard are options that cost thousands of dollars on the Japanese models, and in many cases aren't even options.

Just surprised it didn't make your list.
