  1. I ended up upgrading mine with the metal guide rod and spring . Took it to the range and the slide broke made out of pot metal. But like you I haven't given up on it ordering a new slide we'll see what happens. God bless you and your family!

  2. Mine is at the ffl. Just got to get a day off to go pick it up. I bought it with the same expectations as you. Something to "play" (for lack of a better word) around with even if it wont be reliable

  3. Great Video. I have a Blue Line Solutions Mauser 1911 22lr. The gun is made in Germany, probably by GSG as the parts are identical. I did upgrade it with a kit that had a slightly longer stainless steel guide rod and spring to minimize failure to feed. This particular pistol does not like to run dirty at all. I noticed that if I give a good cleaning and lube after each range visit, it will run pretty good. If I pay careful attention to clean any trace of carbon out the slide and frame grooves, as well as the feed ramp, it will run almost flawless, especially with bulk CCI Blazer 38 grain lead round nose ammo.

  4. I have had mine for 2 years and change the guide rod and spring only. Browning ammo is a problem but otherwise no issues and i have about 1,000 rounds. I do clean it after every use – about 200 rounds

  5. i had the same issues with slide, misfeeds and jams.
winchester ammo was the worst offender for it. cci is great though. has to have high velocity ammo through it though.
i found that gently sanding down (super fine grit 2000 sandpaper) the inside of the rail and slide to remove any cerakoting that is in there. it seems like it spills over a little and it causes some friction preventing correct slide function.
after doing that it ran great with the right ammo.
i still have it after a few years and use it regularly. i have no issues unless it gets super dirty (i clean it every 700-1000 or so rounds) and have used it for training new people and women. great price and good gun. accurate enough at 25 mts.

  6. Like they say,try try again! I’ve purchased the upgrades this gun needs to be lightly oiled and or cleaned as needed ! Sometimes break in period can be longer and more ammo run through it. I bought this when they first came out! It needs oil here and there as needed, each and every time it’s taken out to the range. This is a very good gun. Some times the magazines expand with heat and usage. Over time the mags get dirty. I used a thin plastic ruler and a small cotton patch and depress the follower with patch and ruler there is carbon that gets in there ! Keep a goin 😊

  7. Did you happen to polish the slides rail? The over spray is what causes alot of hang up, i have one with all the upgrades and i polished it up nice it runs like any other of my plinkers

  8. i've had one for years and never had an issue with it. It isn't the best made 22lr pistol I have, but it may be the most fun. I don't have any regrets and would buy it again.

  9. Watching this video and reading the comments gives me hope for mine. I ran 4 magazines of Winchester through it this weekend and was totally disgusted with the performance. I had multiple rounds out of each mag that didn't fire. I'll be running CCI's through it this weekend to see if that makes a difference.

  10. I had one a few years ago that would feed anything but it took a lot of upgrades and work to get it reliable. The slide lock back notch will wear after about 600 rounds and not allow the slide to lock back any more. I replaced the slide with a after market slide and when I sold it things were much better…

  11. You’re never gonna have a unanimous decision on any gun. I have two of these type of guns. They are fantastic guns. There are people out there who all these guns That had problems with them, But it is still a great gal. Even the super high dollar guns have problems at times. So anybody who says this is not a good gun. Does not know what you’re talking about. They’re not coming from experience gun knowledge. But just based on the problems they had.

  12. Make sure the firing pin isn’t hitting the chamber. Might have to sand the firing pin some so it doesn’t hit the chamber. This is even with the upgrade

  13. Mine feeds fine but it is very ammo finicky the gsg i have rolls with any remington .22 just fine but aguila and federal it has a lot of failure to fire due to light strikes. My old colt 1911 .22 eats anything I feed it.

  14. Look for black overspray on the rails, slide & frame and CAREFULLY sand/polish all paint away & lube…mine went from the occasional fail to 100%, even with cheap ammo.
