omg thank you for saying this, i always felt like it was an unpopular opinion – as a monolid girl, i hate hate hate that chunky panda eyeliner technique. never understood why gurus were pushing that online. it shrinks the eye and looks ugly when you close your eyes. I just draw a straight wing starting from the outer third. there's no need for the line to be "visible," the point of eyeliner is just to enhance/enlarge the eyes

I know having a monolod is hard but for me its even more harder because i actually do have a crease unlike other monolids but I've fats on my eyelids which droops the upper eyelid and make it hooded covering the crease and it looks like a monolid. The problem is if it was only skin hooded it would be better but the fat on the upper eyelid making your eye hooded is even more worse. Its such a trouble.

If you donโt want to do the really pretty eyeshadow look and you just want dark black eyeliner, please the eyeliner in your water line and blend it down a little bit to make it look kind of messy and repeat halfway on top of your eyelid only do half of your eyelid though it looks weird if you do black eyeliner going all the way around
Sooo helpful! Typical western techniques just look awful on me and I always hated my eyes for it. Iโve grown to accept my monolids and just need to figure out of to work with what I got
