  1. Pretty amazing with 2000kg of downforce. I think we'll see this record matched and maybe broken in Vegas. Also, didn't Jenson drive an F1 car with no rear wing in the middle of no where once? 250mph?

  2. Well who would've thought that top speed is not all that matters in F1, that car really did not have the braking power nor the downforce to make it quick in the corners.

  3. The highest top speed of an F1 car (in race conditions) has ever gone belongs to Williams' 2016 F1 challenger; the FW38. It reached a top speed of 378km/h during the Qualifying session for the European GP (Aka Azerbaijan GP).

  4. If anyone doesn't know, this was a wrong number posted on twitter by one of Williams team member. Official F1 speed traps showed ~360km/h at that moment and there was no way in the world it could get to 378km/h. Some time later Williams confirmed this was a miscalculation on their end.
