I remember reading the Sonic comics, and I remember seeing how op he could be with the chaos emeralds. If you put movie sonic up against comic sonic, the comic would absolutely knock him

Remember Sonic who sometimes struggle to fight Eggman and his Army? And then they go like "here, take, this, and that, and these" and boom he can destroy galaxies, travel through dimensions, probably can annahilate the entire universe just like that. – And then there are still enemies that he has to fight with full power against.

Lust like DC has normal Superman, and then Superman who slept a million years inside a sun and became the most powerful being. – Or not, because there are still more powerful beings in DC if I remember correctly.

Dragonball is doing the same thing, which is getting annoying too, but at least ,they actually have to do something to achieve their powerups – to some extent.
Supersaiyan 1-3, even the non-canon 4, are great in my opinion. The we got the Supersaiyan God, which was a bit, too much, but well, then they made SSJ Blue, and then SSJ Berserk, Ultra Instinkt, Ultra Ego one stronger than the other, and then there's still that one guy that's stronger than all of those. It just isn't fun anymore.

Or Naruto, remember how Kakashi fought Zabuza and both were quite known as strong Ninja? And by the time we're in the 4th Ninja war? Kakashi showed us many times how much stronger he actually is, yet he struggled with Zabuza, and that fight was low-level power compared to the 4th Ninja War.
Madara and Hashirama's fight created the valley of the end before Konohagakure was founded. And their fight in the 4th Ninja War was exponentially more desasterous than that. I mean, this wasn't a Ninja-War, that was practically a nuclear war.
