Plot
Xenogears is the fifth episode in a series of six. About 10,000 years ago prior to the events of the story, in the year T.C. 4767, the Eldridge, a massive interplanetary emigrant spaceship was transporting a deadly weapon, as well as a mysterious monolith. One of the passengers on the ship, a boy named “Abel”, touched and contacted a yellow monolith called the Zohar.

Characters

Fei Fong Wong
the third, ‘artificial’ personality was developed, who had no memory of his life prior to being fifteen years old. An amnesiac painter and martial artist living in Lahan after a mysterious masked man (citan) brought him there when he was wounded and unconscious. Fei’s arc deals with him recovering his repressed memories and accepting the consequences of his actions.

Id
a personality within Fei who knows how Fei came to be in Lahan, as well as his past. Id’s personality were born in response to the physical and mental trauma, lack of parental love, and the refusal of his father to listen to Fei about Karen’s behavior and the trauma of his mother’s death, Fei’s original personality completely split into two personas: The Coward, the first personality who clung to positive memories, and Id, who took on the pain and trauma.

Abel
A young boy born circa T.C. 4760. A passenger aboard the spaceship Eldridge, that was transporting Deus. He made ‘contact’ with the Wave Existence, a hyper dimensional being that had fallen within the Zohar Modifier, Responding to the young boy’s most earnest wish Zohar created a woman,and imbued with a mother’s will: Elehayym.

Dr. Kim Kasim
a doctor and scientist who created who nanotechnology and nanomachines. he was the first known reincarnation of Abel and his wife Elly was the first reincarnation of the Elehayym.

Elhaym ‘Elly’ van Houten
A young skilled officer of the Solaris military. She is the reincarnation of the one the replica’s of the mother of humamity who gave birth to two replicas of herself to serve as humanity’s caretakers: Elly, the Antitype, and the original Myyah, the Complement.

Citan Uzuki
A doctor and a scientist living in the mountains near Lahan. He is tasked by cain to watch fei and decide whether to kill of ally with him to stop dues, but for several reasons keeps it a secret. that also extends to his role as he often rescues everyone else from trouble. Citan is a martial artist and a swordsman.

Bartholomew ‘Bart’ Fatima
A hot-headed leader of the group of ‘sand pirates’ stealing Gears from Aveh military with a help of a strange submarine called Yggdrasil that is able to travel through the desert. He’s actually a rightful heir to the throne of Aveh and is preparing to take back his country from the usurper known as Shakhan.

Ricardo Banderas
Due to a secret plot influenced by the Ethos, Rico was born as a demi-human. Rico is actually the son of Kaiser Sigmund of Kislev.

Billy Lee Black
A pacifistic priest of the Ethos, who runs his own orphanage in the Aquvy region. As an Etone of the Ethos Church.

Emeralda Kasim
a 4000 year old nanomachine colony in the shape of a young girl created by kim to be his and elly daughter as they could have any.

Chu-Chu
Part of the Ooki tribe, an aboriginal species of the world called Dotesque Chu-Chupolin.

Maria Balthasar

Emperor Cain
The original Myyah created Cain and the twelve members of the Gazel Ministry using the original parts of Animus. Cain, as the first human, was the manager of the Gazel Ministry in their search for the Anima Relics.

Kahran ‘Kahr’ Ramsus
A Gebler commander, He’s an intelligent leader, but can alsobe ruthless and single-minded. Kahran considers Fei to be his archenemy and is obsessed with defeating him that he puts Gebler’s plans in jeopardy. He is a clone of the emperor created to kill the emperor.

Miang Hawwa
Myyah is one of two parts of the mother of all humanity on the planet, with the other being the original Elehayym, the antitype. While Elehayym inherited the Mother’s nurturing traits, Myyah inherited the goal of supplementing the evolution of humanity, so that they will serve as parts for the Deus’s new body.

Wiseman
A masked man who follows Fei and his friends around the world. He claims to be a friend of the main character’s father with whom he studied martial arts in the country of Shevat. In truth he is fei father who share his body with grahf who occasionally takes over.

Lacan/Grahf
Grahf is a fragment of Lacan representing lacan’s own powerlessness at losing Sophia. A manifestation of sofia’s final words, “Lacan! Live, when lacan body died he split in two lacan reincarnated and grahf would posses new body hoping one day to re-merge with his original host.

Krelian
One of the game’s main antagonists, Karellen’s actions are the result of the sorrow of having lost his unrequited love Sophia. He’s actually the person behind some of the most important events in Xenogears.
