Thank you Sir for your sacrifice
First I would like to thank that man for being a true hero. Second I would like to correct him, There were thousands of mines on a 6 mile stretch of the beach. If there were millions nobody would land there.
God Bless this man. ๐บ๐ธ

Germany was already 90% defeated by D-Day. They used up most of their resources trying to destroy communism on the eastern front.
The more I learn about that time 1933-1945, its a miracle the allied nations won the war. That's how strong the Germans were at that time. it took the entire world to go fight them.
Poor guy that stepped on a mine ๐ขgod bless his family
After going past the mines, and machine fire. He finally found a place safe enough for a cigarette. But his matches were wet. ๐
Salute.
Not a million. Nobody has a million mines.
