How would you have built it differently? Let me know!
Nice
Where are you purchasing your cards from?
Love it man, I had a cheap setup at the start of the last bull run. MSI B150 with a cheap Celeron and 4 RX 580s.
I sold the cards and have now put the MB in case with 2 RX 5700s.
❤awesome 👌
To the haters saying GPU mining is dead… yeah the days of ETH are gone. But the fact that mining is still profitable at all right now, done efficiently, only hints at what it will be in a full blown bull run. This guy gets it – get in now while cards are cheap and plentiful, because once the bull run hits… it's GG.
I built some budget rigs the last bull run, had a ton of fun learning in the process. Even if you end up mining kawpow I'd highly suggest doing a video demonstrating how to mine to Unmineable and/or Nicehash, just to give yourself some practice and get some more content up without having to just dump more money into building more rigs. Have fun and happy mining!
first thing dont use Intel based cpu/mobo's with the amount of cpu coins now and amd ryzen mining so well going into you leave a lot of potential money on the table. and if you are going to cpu mine with a ryzen make sure you have 2 sticks turn down the Voltage of the cpu in the bios and at least 8gb of ram for the 6 core ryzens. 8 cores and up i like to use 16gb and dual channel. also some of the older intel boards dont really have pcie lanes set really well and you cant change things in the bios also
Roi wise still profitable in 2024?
underrated
I tried using a optiplex motherboard with a i5-4570 and I couldnt get it to post with more than 1 gpu connected
Hi from Australia! Awesome videos mate.
I thought the cards were connected by PCI express ribbons lol, It all makes better sense now.
Thanks for sharing your wisdom!
I love these budget videos, but you can find a cheap mining rig frame for like $20, hell I got 4 brands new ones for $5 each a few months back and a brand new TB360 BTC Pro for $15, used G4930 CPU and 8 gb ram for $17, 4x 1200w server psu for $35 ea and 40x5700xt for $60 a pop. There are deals out there if you look around and have patience
How much can you make? vs electricity expense?
Do you plan on buying the 4000 series – Hearing good things about the 4060ti and now the 4070 Super & 4070 ti Super for efficiency
Nice video dude…
Ive got a budget build coming up very shortly…
My friend came over a couple weeks ago, with a cardboard box full of CMP 30HX's and a 40HX in it… (18 GPU's in total), and gave me them for free..
I have spent the past week or so, Stripping, cleaning, fresh pasting, all of them, and testing… So far, All of them are in perfect working order.
So going to put them to use…
They arent the BEST cards around… i belive the CMP 30HX is equivalent to GTX 1660 Supers… But they were free! Win Win
Dope video brother
Gpu mining is dead
Like your approach and videos👍
