Is there a reason why you don't use more server CPUs? I know that you have a couple of rigs but most of your rigs are home computer cpus. Did you find that the server cpus weren't worth it?

Hey rabid, I installed beta on hiveos worker and it worked, just like u said. Now im about to build a 7950x but the first test went to an unexpected reboot (I was on pee during that) and couldnt see what exactly happened. It is running with wraith prism cooler, fresh win 11. Got to travel for my job so I left it running in eco mode and its mining ok with deroluna. I live in Brazil so i got worried about temperature and just bought a WC Corsair H115i. Do you think I was in a rush? Sorry for newbie question, this is my 2nd rig.

@Rabid Mining I am a little confused on how to overclock them. I heard it's all done in BIOS? Also, what overclocks/undervolts would you recommend? Specs for what I am using: MSI Pro A620-M Motherboard, 7950X3D CPU, ARGB 120mm Cooler and 32GB of Corsair Vengeance 6400mhz RAM, RGB 750W PSU, for both of my Rigs.

What do you think of Ryzen 9 7900 for Cubic mining? Any idea? I've been trying for a week with 7800x3d but didn't find any solutions on Cubic.

With the money used to buy everything, you could buy around 50 Zeph at current market. It would take until close to 2027 to make close to that on 2 rigs. Just using dirty math, its probably more zeph you could buy straight up for the part cost.

Most of my cpu rigs have Thermalrite coolers and I used the paste it came with. Seems to work pretty well…but I’ll find out soon how it holds up in the summer heat 😂

Have done already, Nope 7950X3D is not good as the 7950X.
If you wish to power up with max voltage, so you have to go with 7950X.
7950X3D is good if you pay for your power and you need to mine cheaper. 😀

I am experimenting with the The Intel Xeon Gold 6150 hashes Randomx at 35000h/s. Lots of retired workstation MOBOs on Ebay to put them in too. Only $150 CAD.
Really wanting to play on the DDR5 AMD platform. Waiting for the new series for now. Tuning is the most fun about this. Mining is just the bonus, lol.

I used the paste that came with my Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE on 2x 5900x and they stay below 60c, looking to get same cooler for a 7900x build as have a free spot as well as 24 pin and 8pin for cpu free.
Just ordered a 5900X, going to use whatever revenue comes from it for the next rig. Probably Ryzen 7000.
Thermal paste I just do a X, seems work great every time. Can't wait to get mine up and running

Ive had good luck with the 1200W server PSU/Breakout board with my 5950x. I get 3 rigs per PSU.
