“Red Fox Crypto”

In this video I review the RTX 4070 Super for Crypto Mining. I show the most efficient hashrate settings for every mineable crypto, discuss how to power the GPU, and compare it’s efficiency to the popular RTX 3070. In the end, I give my opinion on if this GPU is worth it for cryptocurrency…

  1. I have 4 of these 4070 supers, been mining with them for a bit over a month now.
    I absolutely love them.
One thing you did not consider in this video, is the fact that these clocks can get raised a lot without losing too much efficiency.
    I am currently mining Pyrin, 9.2GH @ 170W Avg.
    I was mining Dynex, 7.38KH @ 123W.

I personally love these and would get them over 3070, unless you are getting crazy deals on 3070s, which are hard to come by these days.

  2. You can’t compare a used 3070 with the 4070 super not just the performance but the work easily 3/4 hours to completely clean a card, install new fans & new -20 watt thermal pads & -50 watt KPC Cooling paste. Plus alone the material will cost you easily $125/150 because the memory pads are 2 mm, the mosfets 3!mm, the inductors 1.5/2mm. I have done this for 6 EVGA 3070/ti cards. Since I had only the evenings it took me 3 days to bring the open case/ used EVGA back to the best condition possible. & i used both a non miniature rechargeable screwdriver, a set of mini pliers to remove & put the nuts under the backplate back into place. Was it worth to refurbish 6 EVGA Cards 100% but if I have to get so many Cards ready for me mining Kapow or Alephium which has an expiration date for GPU mining its not worth it. & Especially with Alephium we can no longer talk about traditional efficiency but mining for most Hashrate – 5/10% to give the GPU’s a longer lifecycle
My fave 3070 super has to be the MSI gaming X slim in metallic red

  3. Thanks for doin the tests for us ! Also solid advice 👌 Im also gunna ride along with my 30 series for now. And that last comment 🤣🤣 Them jams sounding tight as ever mate 😩🔥🔥🔥

  4. When asked whether to buy it or not, I answered exactly the same. No episode 40 is worth the money. Especially 4090 with a price of under 2000 dollars. When there was ETH, any cards were sold at an overprice, but now the income is small and it’s not worth paying more than $350 for a card. You need to take the number of cards.

  5. wow the memory on yours is WAY better than mine was. some of my 40 series have great memory bins, but my 4070 Super does not.

these operate up to 3GHz but dont seem to lose much efficiency until above 2600.

  6. Red Fox Crypto – Did you see how Nexellia performed last weekend for GPU miners when obviously, loads of people jumped on the Network? The price skyrocketed! It's back down now with low network hashrate but I think I saw the potential of an Ethereum like GPU mining ability with Nexellia if miners commit to it like we did with Ethereum. What are your thoughts man?

  7. One thing I like about my 3070FE cards is they only need a single 8 pin. Seeing the new 4070s require 2 means my entire 3070 rigs would have to be reconfigured wiring wise to accomdate the extra 8pin needed now. I'll be sticking with the 30 series for now, maybe a 4090 if I'm feeling cute one day.
