The Dell Poweredge R720xd is a 2u server that yields insane amounts of compute power⚡ It allows for 2x 8 pin GPUs w/ half height PCIe slots (x3) and full height PCIe slots (x3) at gen 3 speeds. The onboard mezzanine connections allow for a variety of networking options (quad port, 10gb, 25gb, 10G copper, rdma and sfp+), creating an amazing networking platform that is extensible to a variety of needs. The H710 and H310 onboard cards can be flashed easily to IT mode for use with UnRAID, ZFS, TrueNAS. This platform has 3.5″ (12x) front facing or 2.5″ (24x) front facing slots and 2.5″ (2x) rear facing (optional) drive slots, allowing it to scale to 216TB with 18TB hard drives.
