  1. Dell want to sell you the most expensive option. Probably find they get a % of the sub fees back in “marketing” allowance or such from the big green.

  2. Our CAD users are looking for a solution for using Revit and Civil 3D remotely. There are DISA reasons that make it difficult but I'll add this to the list.

  3. Main reason I didn't buy a770 and went with rx 7600 was missing sr-iov support. Yes rx 7600 doesn't have it either but a770 was retired too. Such a nice card, what a waste.

  4. Ive been wondering on how i could get a VDI solution for hom e and family where i can have a few VDIs that are "gaming friendly" and the rest be work friendly for different people. Maybe this can provide me some hope without having to spend $2500+

  5. Sometimes I'm busy during the day and I see a niche video like this that Wendell has posted. I think, "Man, I don't think this will be of any interest or use to me. I don't think I'm going to watch it…." But then I always do watch it and I'm blown away about how awesome these videos are. This info may help me to architect some great solutions for clients in the future.

  6. "life changing" is an understatement, I thought we would see this back in 2010. Absolutely insane it has taken this long to make it happen. I had to jump through so many hoops to make Proxmox do Virtual GPUs on my GTX 1060 6GB. Perhaps this will force Nvidia to rethink their policy on VGPUs in a few more years.

  7. I would love to see a video demonstrating alder lakes igpu SR-IOV capabilities and setup process, maybe a cubesOS like functionality with hardware accelerated vga on the cheap would be possible with this?

  8. If one uses Windows Server RDSH and I think multi-user Linux, you can bypass the need to SR-IOV or Nvidia's formerly called GRID and just use vanilla GPU. I don't know why VMware gets so many accolades for things Citrix long ago. Granted Citrix was late with app virtualization and was dumb for bundling Netscaler which is $$$, you're not locked to using just VMware's hypervisor (Can use Hyper-V and Xenserver/XCP-ng, Nutanix Acropolis too). I used AMD's regular and SR-IOV enabled GPUs for a time. Sucks AMD hasn't kept their VDI GPU lineup up to date however.

  9. Thank you for continued great content. Just a bad prosumer here….but I have made a career in IT just based on videos from the likes of you and Linus, etc. high five 🖐️ from Kansas City!

  10. Can someone confirm that is SR-IOV is also supported in Meteor lake? I am planning on buying a new laptop this would the only feature to go Intel instead of AMD for me
