Usually we use a raspberry pi imager tool to install an operating system on SD card or USB device, but this requires another computer. Raspberry team has come up with a solution called network install that comes with new
boot loader update. When you turn on raspberry pi with new boot loader update, it will first search for any Operating system present inside SD card or USB device, if it finds nothing or a blank storage device, the network install setup screen will popup. This allows to download the raspberry pi imager tool to the primary storage aka Random access memory and then using this tool we can flash raspberry pi os to the SD Card on the go.
