Proxmox 2-node Homelab Cluster Quorum WITHOUT QDevice

I use Proxmox in my homelab, and I want to cluster my ‘production’ small form factor node with my big sandbox node. However, I routinely shut down the big sandbox, so I need to maintain cluster quorum with only the production node. I could add a QDevice, or I could give the primary node an extra vote so it can run on its own.

Tip: If you mess anything up and the nodes are unable to quorate, the proxmox cluster filesystem (/etc/pve) will become read-only. Run ‘pvecm expected 1’ to reduce the expected quorum to 1 temporarily while you fix the problem.
