They were given a golden opportunity to get some great free publicity, that would have enhanced the profitability of their company. All they needed to do was to act like logical. sensible, positive thinking human beings. Something they were incapable of.

So that any change to the viability of their business was entirely down to them and how they behaved, and not down to Northern Audits.

So, regarding the NDA, how do the vehicles get into his yard in the first place. Are they magicked inside or teleported? Otherwise anybody with a dash cam, CCTV on surrounding buildings or Google street view could have seen them entering. It sounds like they need to do a full review of the vulnerabilities of their site to industrial espionage, if the current measures are so easily negated. I expect their NDA customers wouldn't be too happy to hear that they're currently apparently just relying on the goodwill of bad actors.
