ASUS is trying to do as much damage-control as it can regarding its disastrous initial response to the so called EXPO-GATE.

X670E powered motherboards damaging CPUs, void warranty, there is a lot to account for.
And ASUS is doing a good job at trying to make it right.

  1. I cant do dual Channel with my 7800x3D and my tuf x670e plus wifi… I have a 2×16 kit RAM, tot 32gb ddr5 cl30 6000mhz. PC works only in frist 2 slot RAM, called "A1/a2"
I canti do dual Channel, and if i populate any of b slot, my PC don't boot… I saw Is a very comune problem on am5, expecially on Asus mobo, and x3D CPU… What can i do now? I don't know if the issuse come from CPU Memory control, or a issuse mobo… I whached PIN of mobo and CPU and lookly normal… Sorry for my terrible english, but i Need answer! I have less 8 day for a Amazon refound or swich… Please, can someone help me, pleasee?? 😰😰

  2. It better be fixed, I have a x670e extreme sitting in its packaging waiting for me to get the last few watercooling parts for my custom loop rig. It better not blow up my 7900x lol I'll make sure I flash the bios with just the mobo and psu

  3. So is it safe to update the bios to the most recent one? My current x670e hero and Ryzen 9 7950x is stable but wondering if the newest bios is good to go to

  4. Oh, nice to hear that another big motherboard manufacturer dosn't see this issue so serious. I would love an YT-Influencer who reacted so angry on asus failure asking on computex gigabyte about this issue and what they would answer!😈

  5. If we’re not out of the woods yet for this generation of AMD motherboards then maybe I should just plan not to overclock my Ryzen 7000 generation CPU. The basic question is how to find out which, if any, of the current X670E motherboards is safe.

  6. Excellent video. Glad to see someone treating this issue like a grown up 🙂 the tech community seems to be driven by clickbait and dramas these days, sadly

  7. I agree that insulting a brand is not the right solution. But Asus has indeed treated its customers like fools… Oh, our bios defaults your processor to an overclock and subjects it to voltages that do not respect the manufacturer's recommendations… You didn't understand the problem? We don't care! You don't know how to fix the problem? We don't care! …Well, we've understood that you're not happy so here's a BIOS that will fix everything… you install it and it burns out? We don't care… This is frankly not very commercial and we understand why users are unhappy… Without the intervention of a few big names, would Asus have corrected itself? I'm not so sure!

  8. My settings: 7950x – x670e Extreme – 16×4 CMT32GX5M2B6000Z30K. I have upgraded to version 1415. Expo profiles don't work at all, blue screens and lots of errors on stability tests…Asus fixed what?????????

  9. I've been waiting for a fix before i buy the Asus Strix X670E-E. But now the question is, will higher RAM/EXPO speeds now be a problem with the lower voltages? It was already hard enough to hit 6400MHz especially with larger capacities….

  10. My Crosshair VIII impact had Bios's that had betas included with similar warnings.

This was a couple of years ago, Why didn't the tech channels talk about it then?

They took an opportunity like this for clicks. I veiw them differently now.

  11. If Asus failed to proofread the note before publishing, then what else are they skipping when they perform QC checks? The market is currently flooded with Asus motherboards. No one wants to buy them.

  12. Sorry but Trust is gone "The whole void warranty issue" yesterday down load this and in effect no warranty, now it only take few mins at most to type in user statement to the effect "This is a temp fix your motherboard is still under full warranty…" and press save. So one did not do this, "was this a get out warranty, over sight or professional incompetence" sorry its still smells bad.
Now bad publicity and you tube outrage has forced ASUS to take ownership. What Asus should have done is taken ownership from day one "we got you back If this happens to your motherboard and CPU we fix it do not worry" This would have re-enforced trust and not broken it sorry Asus my trust is gone it now up to you to win it back if you can.

  13. And how many processors and motherboards have gone up in smoke and no responsibility taken by Asus first? Asus classifies enabling EXO memory as overclocking and that voids their warranty (on a board that is designed supposedly for overclocking). No warranty if you DOCP or even correct frequency lock on low latency memory. Asus say it should be run on default setting only (as a means to get out of any liability)!!
