VCSA 7 installation under VMWare Workstation takes a really long time and then fails at 32%

Hi everyone, I found out recently I get a free enterprise vSphere license through my school so I started setting up a small home lab. Everything is running under VMware Workstation for now which itself is running within Windows 10 Pro. I got ESXi running good and spun up a couple of VMs without an issue, but attempting to install VCSA (also under Workstation) takes a really long time. I ended up letting it run overnight as it was still at 10-20% after over an hour. When I woke up, the install failed at 32% with error failed to start vpxd-svcs.

Anyone have any suggestions on this? Also, is there a better way to run vcenter than how I’m trying to do it here?
