The manga term was continues effect that's why the bounce spell effect is muddy when in reality it should only bounce any continues spell card

I wish konami make a whole archetype based on sword of revealing light. The goal is to make the sword of revealing light active all the time and the support cards gain benefit when it is active.

As a Gaia 2nd turn OTK, I love swords of concealing light
I kinda wish conceiling light was a normal spell, thrust into swords of conceiling lightwould have been dope
Even as a kid I remember thinking it was weird that it wasn't a continuous spell even though it essentially acted like one, just with a self destruct clause (heck, in this day and age it may as well be a continous spell given how unlikely a player is to even have three turns much less have Swords of Revealing Light last that long).
Is it semi limited right now?
It makes sense when you realize Konami just sings child porn and battle phase child porn and battle phase
They should errata it so that it stays on the field even if it’s destroyed. It would balance the game potentionally making it last longer by at least 3 turns

Why does nobody remember Nightmare Steelcage?
When they first made the game, spells and traps would stay on the field after activation and resolution unless they said otherwise, so thats probably why this says it stays and to destroy it after their 3rd end phase

Technically Gold Sacrophagus/Different Dimension Capsule, Future Fusion & Final Countdown are also Continous Normal Spells
The short's thumbnail made me think for a second there was another swords card I didn't know about.
They should just eratta it to be a continuous spell card at this point 🤷♂️
While it is a unique spell card, that is solely because it came out before continuous spells were given their own symbol. So yeah, that's why Swords of Concealing Light is considered a more proper way to design such cards.

Swords came out before Continuous Spells existed, so they took some creative liberties. Same with that really awful Normal Spell that has to be Set for a Turn before it can be activated because of the timing it needs to be activated in.
