WE should have low taxes and cheap fuel,but the cost is drilling for oil and gas.If we dont we will have high taxes,expensive fuel and a very very low standard of living.
We need oil and gas we can process in NZ so when the world goes to hell we do not have to join them.

We can see existing mining rights exist without expanding them. Some have used their existing rights, and others have not done so. Often, businesses will land bank land, and mining rights are likely to have the same business thinking.
S Jones should think about sewage flowing into Hokihunga Harbour as the local authority is not managing water well in his area.

It's no good doing away with fossil fuels until there is enough renewable energy to replace it.
So basically they will sell the rights to our resources. Mine the sea bed and the iron ore goes straight to China, same with the gas and oil, the big companies will take it away for refining and then sell it back to us for what we are paying now, basically they intend to sell our country.
